iFLYTEK Supports the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games with Cross-Language Communication Designed to Understand You Better
In late August, the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games took place at Beijing's National Speed Skating Oval, widely known as the "Ice Ribbon". This year's event was larger and more technically advanced than ever, bringing together 666 teams and 2,056 robots from 16 countries across six continents. Over five days and nine competition sessions, 51 events and 1,301 matches were held, setting new records for both scale and technical capability.
This year, iFLYTEK once again partnered with the World Humanoid Robot Games, bringing its AI translation capabilities across a wide range of scenarios to the event and providing comprehensive technical support, including AI translation and AI-powered recording. These services helped ensure seamless communication and efficient collaboration throughout the Games, moving cross-language communication beyond barrier-free access toward a more context-aware, user-centered experience.

AI Translation Across Every Setting, Designed to Understand You Better
Throughout the Games, iFLYTEK SPARK Trans provided real-time Chinese-English translation for live event commentary. Spectators at the venue could scan the QR code on the big screen to read bilingual commentary subtitles on their phones or listen to the commentary through text-to-speech. The solution was also deployed at press conferences to provide real-time simultaneous interpretation, helping information flow smoothly and efficiently.

As the official AI translation provider for the Games, iFLYTEK worked to break down communication barriers across the event and foster cultural exchange both inside and beyond the venue. For media professionals, iFLYTEK offered an exclusive service package covering iFLYTEK SPARK Trans, SPARK Sonus, Deepting, and other services, helping them communicate with ease, capture event highlights efficiently, and distribute content more effectively.
Among these services, SPARK Sonus helped Chinese and international journalists quickly generate multilingual subtitles and AI voiceovers, allowing event videos to reach global audiences in near real time and bringing the Games' standout moments to viewers worldwide. During on-site interviews, reporters used Deepting to capture the experiences of teams from different countries. Speech was transcribed in real time, while AI-powered analysis extracted key information, enabling reporters to draft stories as soon as interviews ended and helping participants' valuable ideas reach wider audiences and resonate around the world.
Participating teams from different countries also used iFLYTEK AI Translation Earbuds for face-to-face communication, making on-site exchange and mutual support easier throughout the Games.

From simultaneous interpretation for live broadcasts and multilingual localization of event audio and video content to AI-powered recording and insights for post-event media interviews, iFLYTEK provided end-to-end AI translation services at this year's World Humanoid Robot Games, spanning every stage before, during, and after the event. These services delivered a more seamless and professional experience for audiences, media professionals, and participants from around the world, enabling people everywhere to share in the excitement of technological innovation and sporting competition.
Breaking Language Barriers and Bringing Global Voices Together
To date, iFLYTEK has built extensive experience supporting major international events. It served as the exclusive official supplier of automatic speech transcription and translation for the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and has supported international sporting events including the FISU World University Games, the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships, and the World Athletics Championships Budapest. iFLYTEK SPARK Trans has served users in more than 50 countries and has supported over 420,000 international conferences and meetings. Its role at the World Humanoid Robot Games marked another comprehensive real-world deployment of iFLYTEK's AI translation capabilities.

Breaking Down Language Barriers, Competing for a Smarter Future. At the "Ice Ribbon", where human passion met robotic ingenuity, 2,056 robots turned technological progress into new breakthroughs in speed, height, and strength. Inside and outside the venue, real-time bilingual subtitles broke down communication barriers, while multilingual localized videos carried the highlights to viewers worldwide.
On the world stage, iFLYTEK used AI to bridge language barriers, providing efficient, professional support that worked quietly behind the scenes and was designed to understand users better. In doing so, iFLYTEK helped share this global celebration of technology with people around the world.
