iFLYTEK GuideX Multilingual AI Avatar Guide Makes Debut at Community AI Showcase in Our Tampines Hub, Singapore

Singapore, June 2026 – From 19 to 21 June, the "Jom AI @ Tampines" community AI exhibition, jointly organised by NCS and the People’s Association, was held at Our Tampines Hub in Singapore. A centrepiece of the event was the "multilingual AI Avatar guide and wayfinder", GuideX solution developed by iFLYTEK, delivering an immersive and intelligent interactive experience for local residents.

From Resident Ideathon to Community Showcase: AI Empowering Public Services

The exhibition marked the culmination of a long-term collaboration between NCS, the People’s Association, and Our Tampines Hub – progressing from a resident Ideathon, through the "Jom AI @ Tampines" Hackathon, to this vibrant community showcase. At the opening evening, distinguished guests including Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development; Mr. Baey Yam Keng, Minister of State for Transport and Culture, Community and Youth; Mr. Desmond Choo, Minister of State for Defence; and Dr. Koh Poh Koon, Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC, visited the NCS AI booth to experience the technology first-hand.
