iFLYTEK Featured at the 2026 World Digital Education Conference

The 2026 World Digital Education Conference was held in Hangzhou from May 11 to 13. The conference  convened government leaders, heads of international organizations, education policymakers, renowned school principals, leading scholars, and representatives from leading enterprises around the world to discuss how intelligent technologies can help promote educational equity and enhance the quality of education.


Since the inaugural conference in 2023, iFLYTEK has attended this global education event for four consecutive years. Powered by the iFLYTEK SPARK Education LLM, the company has continued to bring China’s innovative solutions to global digital education transformation through conference forums, achievement showcases, school visits, and research project launches.


2023 · Beijing | Digital Transformation and the Future of Education


The World Digital Education Conference was held in Beijing from February 13 to 14, 2023. At the forum on “Digital Empowerment for the Transformation of Basic Education,” Liu Qingfeng, Chairman of iFLYTEK, delivered a keynote report titled “Artificial Intelligence as a Driver of the Strategic Action for Education Digitalization.” He noted that “however times may change, the essence of education remains teaching according to students’ aptitude and making education accessible to all,” underscoring the far-reaching significance of AI as a key tool for realizing the true purpose of education.

During the accompanying exhibition on digital education equipment applications, iFLYTEK presented a comprehensive portfolio of products, including Spark Smart Blackboard, general AI education solutions and Jingshi Calligraphy, and Smart Translator. The showcase offered global participants a vivid look at how AI can empower education across diverse scenarios.


2024 · Shanghai | Digital Education: Applying, Sharing, Innovating


From January 30 to 31, 2024, the conference took place in Shanghai. At the plenary session, the World Digital Education Alliance was officially launched, bringing together 104 universities, international education organizations, research institutions, and enterprises from 41 countries and regions.


At the parallel session on “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Ethics,” Wu Xiaoru, President of iFLYTEK, shared the company’s practices in applying AI to education in the era of large models. He explained how AI technology is evolving beyond standalone tools to become a core force in reshaping the way future talent is cultivated. During the initiative release session, Ren Pingping, Vice President of iFLYTEK, joined fellow representatives as a corporate delegate to launch the “AI for Education Development” initiative.

At the concurrent “Digital Intelligence for the Future” education exhibition, iFLYTEK presented iFLYTEK Spark, Spark Teacher Assistant, Spark Lecture Review, and other products, highlighting a new stage in the deep integration of large-model technologies with classroom teaching.


2025·Wuhan | Education Development and Transformation in the Intelligent Era


From May 14 to 16, 2025, the World Digital Education Conference was held in Wuhan. At the parallel session on “Teacher Role Transformation and Capacity Building in the Intelligent Era,” Nie Xiaolin, Director and Senior Vice President of iFLYTEK, shared the company’s practices in exploring how AI can empower innovation in teaching paradigms. Zhou Jiafeng, Vice President of iFLYTEK, took part in a panel discussion at the parallel session on “International Artificial Intelligence and Education.” At the closing ceremony, Ren Pingping, Vice President of iFLYTEK, joined fellow representatives as a corporate delegate to release the Initiative on Building a Framework for an International Digital Education Standards System and the alliance standard General Reference Framework for Large Models in Education.

During the conference, iFLYTEK provided innovative applications and technical support for school demonstrations at multiple visit sites covering basic education, higher education, and vocational education.


In addition, the National Institute of Education Sciences released a prototype of an intelligent tutor for primary and secondary science education, jointly developed with iFLYTEK and based on the “Teaching Chain of Thought” framework, adding new momentum to science education.


2026: A New Journey Begins


The 2026 World Digital Education Conference took place in Hangzhou from May 11 to 13, 2026. Themed “AI + Education: Transformation, Development, and Governance,” the conference focused on how artificial intelligence can drive systemic change in education, advance high-quality educational development, and contributed to a new global education governance framework that is inclusive, secure, and sustainable.
