AI Empowers New Scenarios in Smart Cultural Tourism: iFLYTEK Shines at the 2025 Guangxi Culture and Tourism Development Conference

On November 23, the 2025 Guangxi Culture and Tourism Development Conference kicked off in Baise, Guangxi, with the "AI + Culture and Tourism" Equipment Exhibition held concurrently. This exhibition marked the first large-scale and high-level showcase of "AI + culture and tourism" application achievements in Guangxi's cultural tourism sector. During the event, iFLYTEK presented its Cultural Tourism Large Model, demonstrating innovative applications of AI technology in the field to the attending guests.

"Hello, I'd like to take my family to Baise for a two-day trip. My elderly parents walk rather slowly. Could you help me plan a more relaxed itinerary?" In the technology application experience area, a visitor was experiencing the AI-powered itinerary planning service. Almost instantly, the large model generated a personalized itinerary featuring revolutionary historical sites, ethnic cultural experiences, and local specialty foods. It also thoughtfully included walking distances between attractions and suggestions for rest stops.

According to a staff member, the Cultural Tourism Large Model is a vertical industry application developed based on the new-generation iFLYTEK Spark Large Language Model. It is designed to build an intelligent service system covering the entire travel chain (before, during, and after the trip) for tourists, businesses, and government authorities. Currently, it has made breakthroughs in ten major application scenarios, including intelligent itinerary planning, multi-language guide services, AI-powered travel photography, and intelligent customer service, comprehensively empowering the digital transformation of the cultural tourism industry.

For tourists, the large model provides services such as customized itineraries and one-on-one intelligent guide service, enabling quick itinerary planning and one-click ticket booking. It also facilitates multilingual interactions and provides round-the-clock AI companionship. For businesses, the large model assists cultural tourism enterprises in generating marketing and promotional materials, delivering intelligent customer support, and optimizing operational efficiency in areas such as intelligent customer service and visitor flow forecasting.

In terms of multilingual services, at the iFLYTEK 1024 Global Developer Festival on November 6 this year, iFLYTEK launched the iFLYTEK Spark X1.5, a deep inference model that supports over 130 languages. The company also introduced integrated software and hardware solutions, such as AI+ microphone array and AI+ speaker array.

Leveraging its capabilities in contextual memory, personalized interaction, and deep learning, the iFLYTEK Spark X1.5 Large Model demonstrates broad application prospects in the field of smart cultural tourism. The model not only supports multi-party conversations—enabling natural and smooth communication with tourists of different nationalities in multiple languages and providing services such as cultural interpretation and travel planning—but also generates a variety of interactive avatars, making the development of local cultural tourism IPs more intelligent and efficient.

The application of new technologies must be deeply integrated into real‑world industry scenarios and progress through continuous iteration. With its unique strengths, resource endowments, and favorable policy environment, Guangxi is emerging as a bridgehead for the deployment of innovative technologies in ASEAN.

As AI technology continues to evolve, iFLYTEK will further deepen its focus on cultural tourism-specific scenarios. This commitment will inject fresh momentum into the digital transformation and high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry, ensuring that technology better serves people's aspirations for an improved quality of life.
