As a leading innovator in AI-powered accessibility, iFLYTEK delivered comprehensive barrier-free service support for this year's Expo. The company deployed devices such as iFLYTEK Translation Machines and multilingual AI transparent screens, providing real-time speech-to-text transcription and multilingual translation services. These solutions effectively assisted diverse groups, including individuals with hearing or speech impairments and international visitors.

At the exhibition, iFLYTEK also showcased a suite of products highlighting significant breakthroughs in AI-driven accessible communication and smart rehabilitation. These innovations underscored the tangible impact that technology is making in the lives of people with disabilities.

At the expo, State Councilor Shen Yiqin, who also serves as Director of the State Council Work Committee for the Disabled—visited the iFLYTEK booth. She received a detailed briefing on the progress of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation–iFLYTEK Joint Laboratory for Universal AI in Disability Support and viewed live demonstrations of products including iFLYTEK Captioning Assistive Listening Device, AI Transparent Screen for barrier-free communication, and the iFLYTEK Intelligent Notebook.

The iFLYTEK Captioning Assistive Listening Device was officially launched by Aibo Smart Technology at the Expo's "Innovative Assistive Products Launch" event. As the first major achievement of the China Disabled Persons' Federation–iFLYTEK Joint Laboratory for Universal AI in Disability Support, the device integrates iFLYTEK's core offline speech recognition engine with advanced microphone noise reduction. It is designed to provide accurate captioning for the hearing impaired in situations where smartphone use is impractical or internet connectivity is poor, such as on airplanes, in subways, hospitals, and classrooms.

Addressing mobility assistance needs, Aibo Smart Technology showcased two key products at the Expo. The first was its rehabilitation version lower-limb exoskeleton robot, which has already been adopted by nearly 50 hospitals across China. The second was the newly launched personal version, designed to provide stable and comfortable support across daily scenarios and help build barrier-free living environments.

In terms of hearing assistance, several products stood out as exhibition highlights. Among them was the AI Transparent Screen for barrier-free communication, which provides real-time, efficient communication services for individuals with hearing or speech impairments. This solution has already been officially deployed at the service counters of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation.

During the event, iFLYTEK set up interactive stations for visitors to try on and experience its smart hearing aids. Professional sign language interpreters were also present to provide accurate, real-time translation services.

The partners' exhibition area featured the top three winning teams from both tracks of the 2025 AI for Accessibility Innovation Competition—six outstanding teams in total. Their innovative work contributes valuable momentum toward building a more inclusive and barrier-free society.

By consistently leveraging its expertise in AI, iFLYTEK reaffirms its long-term commitment to developing better services for persons with disabilities and advancing accessibility through technology.

In May 2024, the China Disabled Persons’ Federation and iFLYTEK jointly established the Joint Laboratory for Universal AI in Disability Support. Its core mission is to "ensure that persons with disabilities are not left behind in the digital and intelligent era and can share in the benefits of technological innovation." The laboratory is dedicated to solving key technological challenges, promoting open innovation platforms, and building pilot demonstration projects. Since its inception, it has actively advanced a range of initiatives, including vocational training for persons with disabilities, the AI for Accessibility Innovation Competition, and the development of demonstration zones for assistive technology applications.

Looking ahead, iFLYTEK remains committed to advancing AI innovation and its application in accessibility. The company will continue to introduce practical, AI-powered assistive products, contributing to a more inclusive and barrier-free digital society.
