iFLYREC Empowers BIRTV2023 with Real-Time Interpretation Services

iFLYREC recently provided the Beijing International Radio, TV & Film Exhibition 2023 Online & Offline (BIRTV2023) its iFLYREC Simultaneous Interpretation System as the official provider of transcription and translation to the event. The iFLYREC Simultaneous Interpretation System provided real-time interpretation services for BIRTV2023, facilitating barrier-free communication.

As a China Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers member, iFLYREC worked with BIRTV2023 to provide real-time interpretation services for high-end conferences, press conferences, and exhibitions. Based on iFLYTEK’s core technologies, such as speech recognition, machine translation, and speech synthesis, the iFLYREC Simultaneous Interpretation System is capable of real-time speech recognition, recognition of Chinese mixed with English, speech translation, conference recording, and real-time subtitling through its offline and online versions. The system allows real-time transcription in nine languages, including Chinese, English, French, Russian, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Arabic, as well as translations from Chinese to multiple foreign languages, including English, French, Russian, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Arabic. It provides regular subtitles and a multi-language full-screen mode, catering to different types of conferences.

The iFLYREC Simultaneous Interpretation System has served over 10,000 summits in more than 3,000 large and medium-sized exhibition halls, assisting over 400 million people. It has been awarded as a “Trustworthy Service Provider” of the China Meetings Industry Convention (CMIC) for multiple years in a row. The system has covered a variety of industry summits, including the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the China International Import Expo, the Boao Forum for Asia, and the UNESCO International Forum on AI and Education.
