iFLYTEK Joins Hands with Indonesia Sinar Mas to Explore New Blue Oceans in AI Powered Education
On December 4th, the China-Indonesia Industry collaboration summit, co-hosted by Z.H island and Sinar Mas was held in Jakarta. The conference, themed "Global Symbiosis, Collaborative Win-Win," was attended by Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and other dignitaries, along with representatives from over twenty Indonesian companies and over one hundred Chinese companies.
At the conference, iFLYTEK and the Indonesian conglomerate Sinar Mas reached a strategic cooperation agreement. Focusing on the field of smart education, iFLYTEK signed a cooperation agreement with Sinar Mas subsidiary, Asix, to launch a smart education application project in Indonesia, jointly promoting the innovative development of digital education in Indonesia.
Witnessed by Huang Rongnian, Executive DireQingfeng, Chairman of iFLYTEK, Andrie Tjioe, CEO of Asix, and Zhang Wuxu, Executive Director of iFLYTEK International, signed the ctor of Sinar Mas, and Liu cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective companies.
Huang Rongnian believes that under the guidance of the "Golden Indonesia 2045" national vision and the "Asta Cita" development strategy, Indonesia offers global investors a clear roadmap and valuable cooperation opportunities. "Indonesia possesses advantages in resource scale and population, while China brings technological efficiency and world-class industrial expertise. Through cooperation, we can unlock opportunities far exceeding what either of us can achieve individually. In Sinar Mas, in Indonesia, we believe that 1 plus 1 equals 11, because true partnership is not a simple addition, but a multiplication."
Sinar Mas, one of Indonesia's most influential business groups, spans seven core sectors: pulp and paper, palm oil, real estate, finance, telecommunications, energy, and healthcare. It is not only a crucial pillar of Indonesia's economic development but also actively promotes digital upgrading and technological empowerment across Indonesian industries. Particularly in the education sector, Sinar Mas has built a complete educational ecosystem through physical schools, systematic operations, and community empowerment in Indonesia, making it a strategic business segment closely integrated with its core business development.
Liu Qingfeng systematically elaborated on China's cutting-edge progress and industrial practices in the field of general artificial intelligence. He pointed out that China has formed advantages in the application and implementation of artificial intelligence. The Spark AI model, with half the number of model parameters, is on par with international levels, and its multilingual capabilities support over 130 languages, driving the upgrading of large-scale model capabilities in industries such as education and healthcare. The cooperation between Indonesian industries and iFLYTEK will better promote people's well-being and industrial development benefits."
Relying on its core technologies such as artificial intelligence, iFLYTEK's smart education products have been widely used in 33 provincial-level administrative regions in China, deeply serving more than 50,000 schools and over 130 million teachers and students. They have also been implemented in overseas countries such as Japan, Singapore, and Thailand.
This strategic cooperation focuses on Indonesia's important direction of actively promoting digital economic transformation and upgrading. iFLYTEK will leverage its technological advantages and practical experience in the field of artificial intelligence to promote the high-quality development of digital education in Indonesia. In the future, both parties will explore cooperation possibilities in more areas.
