Spark Trans Facilitates Successful Conclusion of the 7th Technology Accessibility Development Conference (2025TADC)
On June 27, the 7th Technology Accessibility Development Conference (2025TADC) concluded successfully in Beijing. Organized by the Information Accessibility Joint Conference and the Information Accessibility Research Association, the event brought together government officials, academics, and nearly 300 representatives from businesses, social organizations, and media outlets. Spark Trans provided real-time captioning and translation services throughout the forum sessions.
Delivering a keynote speech at the conference, Shahbaz Khan, Director and Representative of UNESCO’s East Asia Office, stressed that technological progress must be inclusive, benefiting all—including persons with disabilities and the elderly. He urged for the integration of inclusive design in intelligent device development and emphasized the need for AI systems to operate within ethical frameworks. Khan also highlighted UNESCO’s initiatives to provide accessible digital literacy courses and training, powered by AI agents based on large language models, for women and university students with disabilities. These efforts aim to amplify their voices in digital city governance. Professor Khan called for collective action to build a truly accessible technological future, ensuring that everyone can thrive in the digital age.
At this year's conference, Spark Trans provided comprehensive real-time captioning and translation services, ensuring seamless communication for all attendees.

At the conference, iFLYTEK's public welfare initiative "Hearing AI's Voice" was honored as an "Outstanding Technological Breakthrough Case" for its efforts in supporting the hearing-impaired community.
The "Hearing AI's Voice" initiative was jointly launched by iFLYTEK in collaboration with the China Association of the Deaf, and the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe. Leveraging iFLYTEK's advanced speech recognition technology, particularly the real-time speech-to-text function of the "iFLYREC", this initiative enables people with hearing impairments to communicate seamlessly in their daily work and social interactions, facilitating better social integration and personal fulfillment. To date, this compassionate initiative has provided over 200 million minutes of complimentary transcription services to the hearing-impaired community.
Technology is neither cold machinery nor distant lines of code, but rather a bridge to a better world. The true value of public welfare lies in making technological power accessible to every ordinary yet unique individual, enabling more people to benefit from its convenience.
Moving forward, iFLYTEK and iFLYREC will continue leveraging AI technology as their core strength, using the power of innovation to create more accessible living conditions for the hearing-impaired community.
